About OARC

Announced by the Chancellor in October 2021, OARC brings together key functions responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks that can affect the university in achieving its mission. The functions are integrated with a risk management framework and led by the Chief Risk Officer and Vice Chancellor for Audit, Risk & Compliance. OARC is a one-university office with responsibilities for all KU campuses, reporting locations, and controlled affiliated entities.
