John Curran, CIA CGAP

John has a master's degree in public service and administration from the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Pittsburg State University. He is a certified internal auditor (CIA) and certified government auditing professional (CGAP). Prior to joining KU in December 2012 as the Chief Audit Executive, he was the city auditor for Olathe, KS and held audit positions with Sprint Nextel and the Kansas Legislative Division of Post Audit. John is also a lecturer in KU's School of Public Affairs and Administration, teaching a graduate-level course in government performance auditing. He is a Southeast Kansas native.
